In general, there is no charge for most services provided at Student Health Clinic by staff physicians, physician assistants, and nurses. Students who are taking five credits or more will be assessed the Mandatory Health Fee. The MHF provides individualized visits with our health care providers at no additional fee. We do assess fees for the following: psychiatric services, annual physical exams, medications, procedures, immunizations, supplies, and some laboratory tests provided at the Student Health Clinic or sent out to our reference laboratory. We will file a health insurance claim on your behalf if you provide copies of your health insurance coverage.
The Student Health Clinic will close for the summer break beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 28th until Friday August 18th at 8:00 a.m. Medical and Pharmacy services will not be available during the break. The Student Health Clinic will re-open for Medical and Pharmacy services at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, August 18, 2017.
If you have an urgent medical problem at any time during our closure, you can be seen at one of the local urgent care centers. Please visit the Student Health Clinic hour’s webpage at https://health.uni.edu /about/hours for information and locations.
If you have immunization records to submit they can be faxed to: 319-273-7030. If you have questions regarding your Student Health Insurance Plan premium, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 319-273-7736.
If you require assistance prior to Friday, August 18, 2017, a receptionist will be available Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. please call 319-273-2009 and choose option #1.

The Student Health Clinic is an AAAHC accredited facility. We participate in a voluntary site survey to measure the quality of our services and performance against nationally recognized standards of The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.
